Central Valley Fuego FC celebrates its 2024 Home Opener in Fresno, at Fresno State Soccer Stadium on Saturday, March 16th. Fuego FC will face Union Omaha at 7:00 pm PT. This will be Union Omaha’s first match of the 2024 season.
HISTORY VS. UNION OMAHA
Fuego FC and Union Omaha have competed six times since 2022, with Fuego FC holding a record of 1-0-5 in the series. Fuego FC’s sole victory over Union Omaha occurred on October 15th, 2022. Their latest encounter ended in a 2-1 defeat, but Fuego FC is determined to secure their second win against Omaha and their second victory of the 2024 season. Since 2022, Fuego FC has scored 3 goals against Union Omaha while conceding 9 goals.
WHAT TO LOOK FOR
With a revitalized roster, the team aims to maintain its winning streak. The objective is to secure a clean sheet, with goalkeeper Carlos Avilez making four saves in the previous game. Fuego FC fans eagerly anticipate seeing Coach Jermaine Jones on our home turf as the team faces Omaha.
