Sidekicks Lose to Tacoma Stars on Wednesday Night

Sidekicks Fall to Strykers on Second Match of Weekend Doubleheader

Allen, Texas – The Dallas Sidekicks faced the Tacoma Stars for the second and final time this season. In the previous matchup, the Sidekicks won 8-7 in overtime.

This time, the game was dominated by the Tacoma Stars. In the first quarter, the Stars scored four back-to-back goals all within six minutes. Goals were scored by Justin Stinson, Kyle Rivers, Stefan Mijatovic, and Willie Spurr. At the end of the first quarter, the score was 0-4.

Unlike the first quarter, the Stars only scored one goal in the second quarter. The goal was scored by Cory Keitz. At the end of the first half, the score was 0-5.

Two minutes into the third quarter, the Stars added to their lead when Michael Ramos scored. 53 seconds later, the Stars scored again, this time by Jamael Cox. At 11:15, Kristian Quintana commited a boarding call allowing the Stars to go on the Power Play. 34 seconds later, the Stars took advantage of this and and Justin Stinson scored. At the end of the third quarter, the score was 0-8.

Two minutes into the fourth quarter, the Stars added to their lead when Alessandro Canale. The Sidekicks finally scored 19 seconds later with a goal scored by Kristian Quintana. After that, the Stars went on a three-goal streak. These goals were scored by Jamael Cox, Justin Cox, and Alessandro Canale. At 13:43, the Sidekicks were awarded a penalty kick. Jamie Lovegrove took the penalty kick and scored. This was his 150th goal as a Sidekick. The final score of the game was 2-12.
