February 29, 2024 – Major League Soccer (MLS)New York City FC News Release

New York City FC (NYCFC) and NFP, the Official Insurance Broker of the Club, today announced the continuation of their partnership in a multi-year deal. Originally becoming the Official Insurance Broker of the Club ahead of the 2021 MLS season, this year marks the fourth year of the partnership.

The NFP and NYCFC partnership remains focused on community events that support the Club’s free soccer programming, which provides access to safe places to play the beautiful game for New York City youth. NFP will serve as a supporting partner for various Club events, including the Homecoming event to kick off the 2024 campaign.

“Throughout our relationship, NFP has proven to be an important partner to New York City FC and our community work,” said Andres Gonzalez, NYCFC Vice President of Partnerships. “We’ve made great progress but understand there is more work to be done to bring free soccer programming to even more young people throughout New York City. We’re eager to continue working together to make this a reality.”

“We’re thrilled to renew our partnership with NYCFC and expand our connections and impact within the community,” said Eric Boester, Chief Marketing Officer for NFP. “This is an exciting time for NYCFC, including the stadium development at Willets Point, as well as Major League Soccer, and NFP is proud to be an active participant in increasing access to the game.”
