HOUSTON – The Houston Dash, in collaboration with Nike, unveiled two distinctive kits set to grace the team during the 2024 NWSL season.
As the 2024 season marks a significant milestone, commemorating a decade since the inception of the Houston Dash, the “10th Anniversary Kit” stands as a testament to the team’s journey and success. Featuring a vibrant orange base adorned with alternating bands in various hues, the jersey incorporates the iconic quasar design, symbolizing a decade of energy and stellar performances. “This kit encapsulates our rich history and unwavering commitment to excellence over the past 10 years,” Houston Dash Chief Marketing Officer SJ Luedtke remarked, “Both kits allow us to reflect on our history while reminding us of our commitment to the future generations of tomorrow.”
In homage to Houston’s historical ties to space exploration, the “Space City Blue Kit” pays tribute to the city’s dual legacy in sports and space innovation. The gradient design seamlessly extends from the jersey to the shorts and socks, with deep blue tones representing the club’s dedication to embodying the vibrant and energetic spirit of Houston.
Emphasizing the 10th anniversary, the jersey features a unique jock tag displaying Houston’s tri-code “HOU” on the left side. The design cleverly incorporates a quasar in the “O,” positioned at an angle to resemble the Roman numeral X, symbolizing the decade-long journey of the Dash. Reflecting the team’s commitment to community engagement, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center remains prominently featured on the jersey for the fifth consecutive year.
Magellan Corporation’s logo adorns the right sleeve for a second straight season, showcasing their commitment to gender equality and community initiatives.
