INDIO, Calif. – Playing in their second match of the 2024 Coachella Valley Invitational, the LA Galaxy fell 3-1 to Austin FC at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, Calif., on Sunday morning.
2024 Coachella Valley Invitational
Continuing their preparation for the 2024 MLS Home Opener against Inter Miami CF at Dignity Health Sports Park on Sunday, Feb. 25 (5:30 p.m. PT; MLS Season Pass), the Galaxy next square off New York City FC on Wednesday, Feb. 14 (12:00 p.m. PT) and will close out their time at Empire Polo Club against the New York Red Bulls on Saturday, Feb. 17 (10:00 a.m. PT).

ATX – Jader Obrian, 4th minute: A cross into the box was converted by Jader Obrian from close range.
LA – Gino Vivi (Mark Delgado), 15th minute: Mark Delgado’s floated cross at the back post was volleyed into the top left corner by Gino Vivi.
ATX – Diego Rubio, 85th minute: Diego Rubio finished a pass from inside the six-yard box.
ATX – Jimmy Farkarlun, 87st minute: Jimmy Farkarlun headed in a cross from the right wing from close range.
