Liverpool ‘are monitoring Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo ahead of potential free transfer’ as the Reds ‘need English players to meet UEFA quota in Champions League’

Liverpool are reportedly monitoring Tosin Adarabioyo ahead of a potential move in the summer, with the Fulham defender potentially being available on a free transfer.

Adarabioyo has been one of the Cottagers’ stand-out performers since their return to the Premier League last season.

Despite their impressive performances and standing in the Premier League for a second successive season, Adarabioyo is yet to put pen to paper on a new deal at Craven Cottage and could leave on a free transfer this summer.

As reported by The Standard, Adarabioyo has attracted interest from Liverpool ahead of the summer but AC Milan are also in the running for his signature.

The report continues to state that Jurgen Klopp‘s side ‘need English players to meet their UEFA quota for homegrown players in the Champions League next season’.

This comes as Joel Matip’s contract is up at the end of the season and could depart
