Quinn to Represent Canada at Concacaf W Gold Cup


DURHAM – Former Duke women’s soccer standout Quinn has been named one of 23 players to represent Canada Soccer at the upcoming 2024 Concacaf W Gold Club, which will take place Feb. 17 through March 10 in the United States. 
 
Prior to the tournament starting, Canada will feature a pre-camp Feb. 12-18. 
 
Along with Canada competing will be Mexico, Argentina, United States, Panama, Colombia, Brazil, Costa Rica and Paraguay. 
 
Canada will open action in Houston, Texas with three matches being played at Shell Energy Stadium.  In Group C, Canada will face El Salvador or Guatemala on Thursday, Feb. 22 at 9 p.m. ET, Paraguay on Sunday, Feb. 25 at 5 p.m. ET, and Costa Rica on Wednesday, Feb. 28 at 6 p.m. ET.
 
After the round-robin stage, the group winners, runners-up, and the two best third-place finishers will advance to the Quarterfinals, set to take place in Los Angeles, Calif.
 
A 2018 Duke graduate, Quinn is a two-time Olympic medalist and helped lead Canada to the gold medal at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.
