Chicago Fire FC Travels to California for Coachella Valley Invitational

Chicago Fire Foundation to Help Celebrate Grand Opening of North Austin Center

CHICAGO – Chicago Fire FC traveled to California to participate in the Coachella Valley Invitational from Feb. 5-17 for the Club’s second leg of 2024 MLS preseason.

Chicago will play four matches at the Coachella Valley Invitational, facing off against Austin FC (Feb. 7), LAFC (Feb. 11), Minnesota United FC (Feb. 14), and the Portland Timbers (Feb. 17). Tickets to attend the Coachella Valley Invitational can be purchased.

Chicago’s 2024 regular season, driven by Carvana, will open on the road against the Philadelphia Union at 6:30 p.m. CT on Saturday, Feb. 24, at Subaru Park in Chester, Pa. The following weekend, the Fire will host 2023 MLS Supporters’ Shield winners FC Cincinnati on March 2 at Soldier Field. Scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. CT, the match against Cincinnati will mark the earliest home opener in Chicago Fire history, occurring two days prior to the Club’s 2023 opener.
