Rangers new boy Oscar Cortes claims a series of heart to heart talks with Philippe Clement convinced him to move to Scotland.

The 20-year-old Colombian winger became the Ibrox club’s third January capture following the arrivals of Fabio Silva and Mohamed Diomande when he signed on loan from French club Lens until the end of the season. Rangers have an option to make the deal permanent.

‘I have heard a lot about the history and tradition of Rangers, and I have had positive conversations with the manager who said I can help the team reach their goals this season.
