Ligue 1 side Le Havre a targeting a move for Chelsea defender Malang Sarr before the transfer deadline.
The 25-year-old arrived at Stamford Bridge in 2020 after having impressed in his native France with Nice.
However, since then Sarr has managed just eight Premier League appearances for the Blues, with the most recent coming as a substitute in a 2-1 win over Watford in May 2022.
In August incoming boss Mauricio Pochettino seemed unaware of Sarr when asked why the former France youth international had not featured in a pre-season friendly.
