When does the January transfer windows close around the world? As clubs look to bolster their squads and balance the books

As the Premier League January transfer deadline day looms large, many clubs are still searching for that one signing that could help them push on in the second half of the season.

While most fans will be focusing on the incomings, there are a number of sides who will also be looking at outgoings to help either trim the squad or balance the books.

With that, those involved in transfers will keep an eye out for when other windows close around the globe, with clubs in those leagues still able to acquire players.

The Saudi Pro League – one of the most prominent actors in the summer window – closed on Tuesday, January 30, with little activity in terms of Premier League action, after recent reports that Miguel Almiron will not be leaving Newcastle United.
