With just three days of the transfer window left, things are hotting up. 

It has been a startlingly quiet period, even by January standards, but the frantic whispers in the room seem to be gathering volume as clubs cotton on to the fact they have to do something before it’s too late. 

In today’s transfer gossip column, we look at news that suggests Newcastle may well lose a key player before Wednesday is up as PSG are bullish over their chances of securing Bruno Guimaraes.
