Tottenham midfielder Pierre Emile Hojbjerg is wanted by Lyon but they may fall short on his valuation.
The 28-year-old’s current contract expires next year and the north London club may be looking to cash in before then.
The Danish international also wants more game time ahead of Euro 2024 this summer.

They have already completed the high-profile signings of GIft Orban, Malick Fofana and now Nemanja Matic and now have their eyes on Hojbjerg.
They aren’t the only ones with the player also reportedly being monitored by Newcastle as the Magpies look to bolster their midfield.
Newcastle are keen to add to that area this month but may need to look to a short-term fix to satisfy spending rules unless sales are made.
Newcastle don’t need money to get on the right side of FFP, but they do if they’re going to buy a much-needed midfielder in this window.
