Monterey Bay Football Club Announces “Union Radio” Stationhead Channel

SEASIDE, California – Monterey Bay Football Club (Monterey Bay F.C.) has announced today that the Club is dropping its own Stationhead music station that will feature exclusive playlists personalized by individual Union players on home and away match days throughout the 2024 USL Championship season. MBFC will debut its music station on Stationhead this afternoon. Those who tune into the Club’s first-ever Stationhead stream today at 12 p.m. PT will be the first to hear about the team’s latest player announcement. In addition, a popular merchandise item will be $20 off during the broadcast with details provided only to those listening in.


Monterey Bay fans can connect to the Club’s Stationhead channel through the Stationhead app on their mobile devices, by visiting the team’s website, or directly via the Stationhead website HERE. Beginning next week, MBFC will host weekly “Throwback Thursday” playlist streams on Thursdays and “Fan Friday” playlist streams on Fridays. Once the season gets underway, additional playlists featuring both Union players and coaches’ favorite music will be streamed each game day. Fans can set reminders for each stream via the Stationhead app. Player and coach playlists will be available to download on Spotify 24 hours after a stream ends. Users will be able to save these playlists directly to their Spotify accounts from the website. MBFC’s Hispanic Heritage Night playlist is available for download now.

Each stream will feature merchandise flash sales and item giveaways exclusive to listeners of that stream, while those tuning in may also occasionally be the first to receive special club announcements and information. Whether at work, at home, or in the car, fans can tune in from anywhere and can chat with other fans right on the app during live streams. Listeners must have a current subscription to Apple Music or Spotify Premium to tune in and participate. At a later date, fans will be allowed to request songs live during any stream by using Stationhead’s native request option. Fans are also welcome to submit their own playlists at MontereyBayFC.com/radio.
