CHICAGO – Chicago Fire FC today announced the Club’s theme nights for select home matches during the 2024 regular season, driven by Carvana. The Club’s 2024 calendar features 11 theme nights, including the return of several fan favorites and the introduction of new themes and activations, as the Fire kick-off their 27th season.
The 2024 theme night calendar launches during the Club’s home opener on March 2 at 7:30 p.m. versus 2023 MLS Supporters Shield winners FC Cincinnati. The home opener will welcome fans back to Soldier Field for the new season, with fans in attendance receiving a Chicago Fire foam flag to help cheer on the home team to their first win along the lakefront.
Bring the whole family out for an unforgettable day of fun, festivities, and football with the return of Kids Day (March 16 vs. CF Montréal). Fan favorite Chicago Sports Night will take place on Saturday, April 6 against the Houston Dynamo, where fans can show off their Second City pride and celebrate with some special guest appearances.
Throw it back to the era of boy bands, Blockbuster, and grunge fashion during the Fire’s nostalgia-filled 90s Night (April 27 vs. Atlanta United), presented by Wintrust, and may the force be with you during our special Star Wars Night on May 4 vs. the New England Revolution.
The Fire will be honoring our nation’s brave military personnel and show appreciation for the sacrifices and dedication of our service members during Military Night, presented by Hyundai, on Saturday, May 18 vs. MLS Cup Champions, the Columbus Crew.
Our annual Pride Night, presented by Carvana, will kick-off Pride Month on June 1 vs. the LA Galaxy with a celebration of diversity, inclusion, and unity in our community. Get an early start on your Independence Day celebration with an exciting night of fireworks at Soldier Field on July 3 vs. the Philadelphia Union.
New to the schedule this year will be the Club’s first-ever Country Music Night, presented by CELSIUS®, where fans can enjoy all the greatest country hits as the Fire face off against New York City FC on Saturday, July 13.
Information on the Fire’s annual Hispanic Heritage and Fan Appreciation Nights will be announced at a later date.
