With their second pick of the night, the Kansas City Current have selected goalkeeper Halle Mackiewicz with the fourth pick (32nd overall) in the third round of the 2024 NWSL Draft. Mackiewicz played 48 games for the Clemson Tigers. In four years, she posted a 0.923 goals against average. Her senior season saw her post a 0.726 goals against average, record a school all-time record with 13 shutouts and earn the 2023 ACC Goalkeeper of the Year award.
