West Bromwich Albion are signing Andreas Weimann on loan from Bristol City in a deal that will see Taylor Gardner-Hickman go the other way on a permanent transfer.
Austria international Weimann, 32, has scored over 50 goals for Bristol City since joining from Derby County in 2018 and Carlos Corberan hopes his experience and goal threat can give his Albion side an extra cutting edge as they chase promotion.
Versatile defender Gardner-Hickman has been on loan from West Brom at Ashton Gate this season, making 23 appearances, and figured in their FA Cup draw with West Ham.
He also scored a goal of the season contender against Middlesbrough in November.
The 22-year old former England U20 international has proved a popular figure in the Bristol City dressing room and they are keen to bring him on a permanent basis.
