MONTREAL – CF Montréal unveiled on Friday its preseason roster ahead of the Club’s training camp, presented by Allstate Insurance, which begins this weekend with medical and physical testing :
Goalkeepers: Logan Ketterer, Judewellin Michel*, Jonathan Sirois
Defenders:George Campbell, Gabriele Corbo, Raheem Edwards, Gaël De Montigny*, Grayson Doody**, Ousman Jabang, Sergei Kozlovskiy*, Ruan Teixeira, Róbert Thorkelsson, Joel Waterman
Midfielders:Alessandro Biello*, Mathieu Choinière, Bryce Duke, Emrick Fotsing*, Ilias Iliadis, Lassi Lappalainen, Ariel Lassiter, Samuel Piette, Nathan Saliba, Jesse Saputo*, Matteo Schiavoni*, Victor Wanyama, Rida Zouhir
Forwards: Sunusi Ibrahim, Sebastien Joseph*, Chinonso Offor, Mahala Opoku, Mason Toye, Jules-Anthony Vilsaint
Defender Fernando Álvarez will not be part of the group departing for Tucson on Monday, due to his selection with Colombia’s U23 national team.
It should also be noted that additions to the roster may be made during camp.
Four preseason games on the schedule
CF Montréal also announced on Friday the details of four preseason matches scheduled during training camp:
Saturday, January 27 at 6pm – Kino Sports Complex – vs Minnesota United FC (MLS) – Open to public
Wednesday, February 7at 4pm- Al Lang Stadium – vs Atlanta United FC (MLS) – Closed door
Saturday, February 10at 6pm- ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex – vs Colorado Rapids (MLS) – Closed door
Saturday, February 17 at7:30pm – Al Lang Stadium -vs Tampa Bay Rowdies (USL Championship) – Open to Rowdies season ticket holders
CF Montréal will kick off the 2024 MLS season on Saturday, February 24, at 7:30pm at Exploria Stadium against Orlando City SC. The team’s home opener will take place at Stade Saputo on April 13 at 7:30pm against FC Cincinnati.
