TEMPE – Sun Devil soccer all-conference performer Lieske Carleer has signed a professional contract with FC Twente. The Dutch Club, located in Enschede, plays in the Azerion Eredivisie Vrouwen, the highest women’s football league in the Netherlands.

Carleer was named Second Team All-Pac-12 this past season at ASU after appearing in 17 games. She anchored the Sun Devil defense that finished the season with a 0.95 goals-against-average and set a program record with nine shutouts.
Carleer played in 81 games with 78 starts for the Sun Devils in her career. She scored two goals, had three assists, and attempted 35 shots. Along with her al-conference selections as a senior, Carleer was a three-time CSC Academic All-American.
