  • Films produced by companies Eldridge Industries owns were competing
  • Kai Havertz is SHACKLED as Arsenal’s No 9, the weight of that shirt is too much – It’s All Kicking Off

Todd Boehly looked a world away from the director’s box at Stamford Bridge as he posed for photographs alongside a raft of Hollywood stars at the 2024 Golden Globes on Sunday night.

Chelsea‘s co-controlling owner is the chief executive of Eldridge Industries, the holding company which owns Dick Clark Productions, the organisation that has produced the awards show since 1987.

Eldridge first became involved with the production company in 2015, and in 2021, served as the interim president of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, the organisation which founded the ceremony in 1943.

As well as heading up the storied awards show, Eldridge also has minority ownership in a number of production companies with films nominated at the 2024 awards, such as MRC, who produced Saltburn, and A24, who produced up for awards including Past Lives, Priscilla, and Zone of Interest.

Boehly walked the red carpet alongside Golden Globes president Helen Hoehne, who was re-elected to the role in August 2022.
