“We are extremely excited to add Gabby to our program at Virginia Tech,” said head coach Chugger Adair. “She is a technical midfielder who can play anywhere in the midfield with passion, grit, and determination which gives her an edge that will fit in very well with our program. We can’t wait to have her on campus.”
Why did you choose Tech? I choose Tech for so many reasons including the academics, the location, the team environment, the coaches, and honestly everything about the school. Virginia Tech allows me to compete at a high level while also receiving a strong education. The school will provide resources to help me succeed in both of those areas.
What was your favorite thing about your visit? My favorite part about the visit was being able to witness the culture and environment of the team with my future teammates.
What do you like about the Tech women’s soccer program? I like the coaching staff, the style of play, and the culture of the team as both on and off the field the players and coaches create a family like atmosphere.
What are your soccer strengths? My soccer strength is the ability to distribute the ball.
Who is your favorite pro player (why)? My favorite pro player is Julie Ertz because she makes such a big impact when she is on the field.
What is your most memorable soccer moment (why)? Making it to the round of 16 in ECNL nationals after just missing it the year prior.
What do you think you will major in? My major will be exercise and health sciences.
What is one thing you would want Tech fans to know about you? My three older brothers (Michael, Jack, and Luke) are my biggest supporters.
