MESQUITE, Texas – Texas Outlaws won8-6against the Milwaukee Wave at the Mesquite Arena in Mesquite, Texas. The Outlaws are now 4-2-1 and the Wave are 3-2-1.
The game at Mesquite Arena started with agoal from Andy Reyes in the second minute of the first quarter. Ten seconds later, the Wave tied the game with a goal from Javier Steinwascher. The Wave took the lead in the 9th minute of the first quarter, with a goal from Mario Alvarez. Uzi Tayou scored for the Outlaws in the 14th minute, tying the game up once again. Andy Reyes scored in the final 8 seconds of the quarter, putting the Outlaws up 3-2. In the second quarter, Pollo Cortes received a blue card for handling the ball outside the box, putting in Jesus Rivera into the goal, and killing the Wave powerplay. In the 10th minute, Luiz Morales scored for the Outlaws, putting them up by 2, after Wave goalkeeper William Banahene was issued a blue card for pushing. The Outlaws were up 4-2.
Andre Hayne started the scoring in the third quarter for the Wave in the first minute. Another goal was scored for the Wave in the second minute of the third quarter, scored by Javier Steinwascher, tying the game at 4-4. Luiz Morales got his second goal of the night going into the 3rd minute of the quarter, putting the Outlaws up again. Mario Alvarez scored his second goal for the Wave in the 8th minute. Stuart Grable scored for the Wave in the 12th minute. Vinicius Dantas tied the game again for the Outlaws in the 13th minute. The game tied 6-6 going into the 4th quarter. In the 7th minute of the 4thquarter, Vinicius Dantas scored his second goa of the night for the Outlaws. The final goal of the games was scored by Luiz Morales, his 3rd of the game. Outlaws winning 8-6.
The Texas Outlaws will be taking on the Monterrey Flash on January 13that Mesquite Arena. Kick off for the game is 7:05 pm CT. Tickets for Outlaws home games are on sale NOW!
