WINNIPEG, MB. – Valour FC today announce that the club has signed Australian defender Tass Mourdoukoutas to a contract.

Mourdoukoutas, 24, joins Valour FC from York United FC, where he spent the past two seasons, totalling 3,289 minutes played in 38 appearances.


“Tass has been a priority since day 1 of the off-season for us,” said Head Coach & GM Phillip Dos Santos. “We believe he has all the qualities to be an important piece in what we are building.”

The Sydney, Australia native signed his first professional contract in 2018, joining the Western Sydney Wanderers (Australian Professional League). During his tenure with the club, Mourdoukoutas made 44 appearances, totalling 2,458 minutes played.

Internationally, the defender was named to the Australian under-19 team for the 2018 AFC U-19 Championship. The following year, he played for the Australian under-23 team for the 2020 AFC U-23 Championship.
