Orlando City SC Signs eMLS Athlete Youssef Aboyoussef for the 2024 Season

ORLANDO, Fla. – Orlando City SC has signed Youssef “yaboyoussef” Aboyoussef to represent the Club as its eMLS athlete for the 2024 season, it was announced today.

“We are thrilled to have Youssef represent the Club for the 2024 eMLS season,” said Orlando City SC Chief Marketing Officer Pedro Araujo. “He is a skilled eMLS competitor, earning multiple accomplishments throughout his time competing in various tournaments and coming off an exciting Amateur Cup win last year for Orlando City. We look forward to working with him on expanding the Club’s presence throughout the gaming competition, creating fun content for our fans and, of course, winning tournaments.”


The 2024 season will mark Aboyoussef’s first year participating in eMLS’ pro competitions, having previously become the first-ever eMLS Amateur Cup winner, representing Orlando City SC in October of 2022 and was named best FIFA 23 Player in North America. In 2023, the Cairo, Egypt native claimed another title becoming the eMLS All-Star Challenge winner, securing his spot in the 2023 All-Star match.

“I am so excited for this fantastic opportunity! I have been following Orlando for as long as I can remember, and now I finally get the opportunity to represent the club on the virtual field,” Aboyoussef said. “I want to emulate the success of some of the heroes we’ve had in the past, like Kaka, who has won it all in the beautiful game. It’s time to show what Orlando City is all about! Let’s get those Lions roaring!”
