No. 1 Franklin Pierce completes its undefeated season with a dominant, 4-0 win over CSU Pueblo in the 2023 DII men’s soccer national championship.
Franklin Pierce ran through its tournament competition, beating its five opponents by a combined score of 14-2 en route to its second-straight national championship. The Ravens got goals from four different goal scorers, all four coming in the second half. Karl Vernet made seven saves for FPU. Franklin Pierce has not lost a game since October 23, 2021.

In this single-elimination tournament, 10 teams are selected by the Men’s Soccer Committee from each of the four super-regions to make up the 40-team field. The champions of 19 conferences are granted Automatic Qualification while the remaining teams will be selected at-large by the Men’s Soccer Committee.
