December 6, 2023 – Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) News Release
The Major Arena Soccer League today announced plans for the second annual MASL College Draft on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at 3:00pm ET.
The draft will be hosted by the MASL via Zoom. All teams will be present and prepared to participate in the draft.
The draft will consist of three total rounds. Rounds one and two will be territorial picks. These picks cannot be traded or passed. Round three is at-large and is available to be traded. Territorial is defined as attends or attended high school and/or college; born; or primary residence is in a team’s state.
Drafted player rights will be protected for the player to go to contract with the team until December 1, 2024. It is recommended that a player who still plans to play in college not sign a contract until after their eligibility has been used.
MASL College Draft Selection Order
The order will be based on the final regular season standings from the 2022-23 season. In future seasons a new expansion team(s) would move to the #1 pick and lottery.

*Kansas City traded their third-round pick to Empire Strykers.
