Calgary, AB – AMAZING VIP fan experiences and savvy corporate partnerships landed Cavalry FC two top awards at the inaugural Canadian Premier League Business Awards this week.

The event saw Alberta’s only CPL franchise, which finished top of the league this year, scoop the Fan Engagement Award and Top Partnership Sales Team, decided by revenue.


The squad’s 1975 Members’ Club, presented by Carscallen LLP, was behind the fan award with offerings including player visits, exclusive merchandise, and ‘Chalk Talks’ with head coach and manager Tommy Wheeldon Jr.

Club events are held in the 1975 Club, presented by Carscallen LLP, within the stunning Canada House building, overlooking ATCO Field and the world-famous International Ring on the shared grounds at Spruce Meadows.

Honourable mentions were given to Cavalry President, Ian Allison, for Business Executive of the Year, and in the Partnership Activation of the Year category for a collaboration with team sponsor ATCO.

The partnership features the Indigenous People’s Celebration Match, branding for ATCO Field and training kit, as well as VIP hosting experiences, among others.
