CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Five members of the Virginia women’s soccer team earned Academic All-District honors from College Sports Communicators it was announced by the organization with the release of it’s annual award.
Virginia’s selections include Maya Carter, Samar Guidry, Chloe Japic, Meredith McDermott and Alexis Theoret. Theoret is a two-time honoree, while the other four players all make their first appearance on a CSC Academic All-District team.
Academic All-District honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced in early December.
