Seven Huskies Tabbed Pac-12 Postseason Honorees

SEATTLE – The Washington men’s soccer team earned seven All-Conference honors as the Pac-12 announced its year-end award on Tuesday.

Nate Jones and Kalani Kossa-Rienzi were tabbed to the first team while Chris Meyers and Christian Soto earned second team honors. Richie Aman, Khai Brisco and Bryan Iliohan were named honorable mentions.

It is the fourth consecutive season the Huskies have earned seven or more spots on all-conference teams.

For the second time in his career, Jones earns an all-conference nod this time on first team after being named second team a season ago. Jones was second on the team with three goals and assisted on two to earn nine points. The junior defender started all 18 games recording 1612 minutes.

Kossa-Rienzi is named first team for the second consecutive season. Starting in all 18 games, he tallied a goal and two assists on the season while recording 1556 minutes.

Meyers is named an All-Pac-12 selection for the second season in a row after being tabbed an honorable mention last year. He notched the equalizer at then-No. 1 Stanford in the 43rd minute to earn a valuable point on the road to open conference action.

Soto earns a conference nod for the fifth time in his career, being named second team this season. The senior started in all 18 matches for the Huskies, recording 1456 minutes with four assists.

Aman is named to an all-conference team for the first time in his career, being selected as an honorable mention. The sophomore finished the season with a goal and four assists while playing in all 18 matches with six starts. He earned his first Pac-12 weekly award after factoring into four of five goals against Seattle U and Portland.

Brisco is named to an all-conference honor for the first time in his career. He helped anchor the Husky backline, playing in 17 matches with 16 starts.

In his first season as a Husky, Iliohan led the team with four goals and a pair of game winners. He opened the season with a brace against South Florida coming off the bench. His second game winner came in a 3-1 victory over San Diego State.
