Soccer Signs Five Tigers To 2024 Roster


COLUMBIA, Mo. University of Missouri soccer Head Coach Stefanie Golan announced the signing of five newcomers to the program on Thursday, Nov. 9. The incoming freshmen hail from Missouri, Texas and Michigan.

“The staff has worked tirelessly to bring in a class that would elevate both the overall athleticism of our group as well as the soccer savviness. This group is going to do just that as well as increase the competitiveness within the group. We are excited to add these five women to our program,” said Coach Golan on the 2023 signing class. 

Landis Canada

Forward | Fenton, Mich. | Michigan Hawks | Fenton Senior High School

Landis Canada joins the Missouri Tigers from Fenton, Michigan, where she attended Fenton Senior High School. The forward also played for the Michigan Hawks under Michele Krisnik. The Michigan native achieved first-team ECNL honors and third-team Metro League three times.

“Landis adds versatility to our attacking group as she can play in both midfield or up top. She has a tremendous engine and excellent speed, is a threat in the air and has an excellent mindset. We know that she is going to come in to compete and believe that she can grow into an elite player at this level. We are excited she will represent Mizzou.”

Callaway Combs

Center Back/Wingback | Eureka, Mo. | St. Louis Scott Gallagher Navy ECNL | Eureka High School 

Callaway Combs comes to Columbia from Eureka, Mo., where she attended Eureka High School. The defender played for her high school team and was named captain her sophomore through senior years under Gary Schneider and Anna Voigt. Combs achieved many postseason accolades, earning all-conference honors three times and all-region her sophomore year. Additionally, she was an all-state honorable mention her sophomore season and earned the conference sportsmanship award. Furthermore, the defender was given the Varsity Soccer Leadership Award her junior year.  

Combs also played club soccer for St. Louis Scott Gallagher, winning four ECNL conference championships with undefeated seasons in 2019, 2021, 2022 and 2023. Moreover, she helped her club to back-to-back undefeated National Championships in 2022 and 2023.
