Offensive Player of the Week
Samuel Sarver, Indiana
Jr. – F – Chesterland, Ohio – Major: Sports Marketing
- Scored both goals in Indiana’s 2-1 road victory over No. 19 Penn State on Oct. 7 and played the entire 90 minutes in a 1-1 draw against Kentucky on Oct. 3
- Finished the week with 10 total shots, including five on goal
- Receives his first Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week honor
- Last Indiana Offensive Player of the Week: Ryan Wittenbrink (Oct. 18, 2022)
Defensive Player of the Week
Ciaran Dalton, Rutgers
So. – GK – Pearl River, N.Y. – Major: Human Resource Management
- Recorded a career-high 10 saves (most in the Big Ten this season) to lead Rutgers to a 2-1 win over Maryland Oct. 3 in College Park, Md.
- Made five saves versus Northwestern to finish the week with an .833 save percentage
- Collects his first career Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week award
- Last Rutgers Defensive Player of the Week: Oren Asher (Oct. 5, 2021)
