LOUISVILLE – The Chicago Red Stars fell 3-0 to Racing Louisville FC tonight in Louisville, Kentucky. The team now drops to 1-5-1 on the season.
KEY MOMENTS:
18′ Yuki sends a pass into the box that is controlled by the foot of Ella Stevens, who then slots a pass to Penelope Hocking who takes a shot but is just offsides
23′ Louisville find a wide-open attacker in Chicago’s 18-yard box, but before they’re able to cause any harm, Tatumn Milazzo takes the ball off their feet with a well-timed slide tackle

89′ Louisville’s Goins faces up two Red Stars in the box, takes a left footed shot that goes past the outstretched leg of Naeher and finds the back of the net, 3-0 Louisville
GAME NOTES:
Alyssa Naeher made her 150th regular-season appearance with her start tonight. She becomes the first goalkeeper in NWSL history to reach the milestone.
Naeher had nine saves tonight in goal. Only once has Naeher had more saves in a single match in her Red Stars career (11 in 2018 against North Carolina).
