Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – Atlanta United 2 fell 3-2 against Inter Miami II Sunday night at DRV PNK Stadium. Tyler Wolff scored his first goal of the season while Karim Tmimi scored his second goal in two games.

Atlanta opened the scoring in the first minute of the match when Noah Cobb played a long pass from his defensive third to an open Wolff just outside Miami’s box. The Homegrown forward took a touch before cleverly chipping Miami’s goalkeeper CJ Dos Santos for the first goal of the night. It was Cobb’s first professional assist.

Just three minutes later, Tmimi continued the early surge for Atlanta with a goal from a corner kick. Wolff delivered the cross to the near post as the French striker found space inside the six-yard-box and flicked the ball towards the far post and into the net.

Inter Miami II responded with a goal from a corner kick in the 18th minute. Dairon Reyes fired a ball into the box for Lucas Meek who headed the ball passed the outstretched arms of Atlanta goalkeeper Sebastián Guerra, who made his club debut.

Miami leveled the match in the 25th minute. Noah Allen sent a cross to the near post where the ball rebounded off a couple of players before being knocked in by Aiden McFadden for an own goal.

Miami took the lead in the 88th minute. Braxton Taghvai-Najib played Miles Perkovic into space where the substitute dribbled to the edge of the box before curling a left footed strike into the top corner.

ATL UTD 2 returns home on Sunday, May 14 against Crown Legacy FC at Fifth Third Bank Stadium (5:00 p.m., MLS Season Pass). Some ATL UTD 2 matches are available with an MLS Season Pass subscription, located on the Apple TV app while the remainder of matches are streamed live on MLSNEXTPro.com.
