The Story:

The Pride are set to square off against Racing Louisville at Exploria Stadium, looking for their first home win of the 2023 campaign.

Saturday’s match will serve as the first between the two sides at Exploria Stadium since 2021, with the two taking part in a historic match at Daytona International Speedway a year ago.

The Pride notched their first win of the season in their last outing, beating the San Diego Wave 3-1. The match saw Brazilian International Adriana score her first NWSL goal, while Haley McCutcheon tallied her first goal with the Club. Mikayla Cluff also scored her first goal of the year.

Quote of the Week:

“[Louisville] is a different team than previous years. They’ve added more to their roster with more experience with [Abby] Erceg and [Carson] Pickett, so it’ll be a difficult game. Every game is a difficult game in this league and that’s why we love it. Every game is a challenge and they’re looking for their first win, so it should be a competitive game, a good game for both teams. We have to go and get a win in front of our fans because our fans deserve that as well, so we’re looking forward to it.”

– Head Coach Seb Hines
