LOS ANGELES – Angel City Football Club (ACFC) today announced the launch of its second series of NFTs in partnership with club founding partnerCrypto.com, the official cryptocurrency and NFT partner of Angel City FC. Last season, ACFC’s and Crypto.com’s first NFT series engaged thousands of fans, with more than 20,000 redemptions.

Following that success, the “We Are L.A. NFT Collection” reflects Angel City FC’s 2023 season theme – a celebration of the sum of LA’s infinite parts. In addition, the program will launch with the “Represent L.A.” NFT, which visually encapsulates the message that the unique identities found across LA, bound together by city and county limits, are what make Los Angeles great.

The program will launch with a unique “Represent L.A.” NFT, which visually encapsulates what this season is all about and drives home the message that the unique identities found across LA, bound together by city and county limits, are what make Los Angeles great.

The full collection features three NFTs designed by local photographers from Las Fotos Project, who participated in the ACFC x Crypto.com Artist in Residence program. Over the course of the 2022 season, these three exceptional artists gained paid III in experience photographing ACFC’s home matches. The artists, all BIPOC teens, curated their photographs into a commemorative photobook gifted to members of La Fortaleza, the combination of ACFC’s six supporter groups. Leadership from all six groups had the opportunity to hear directly from the Artists in Residence as the three young women participated in a panel discussion on April 14.

At the program’s culmination, each artist selected one shot to transform into their very first NFT. These NFTs will drop in July, August, and November and include common, rare, and ultra-rare versions. The initiative is a product of ACFC’s 10% giveback model, where 10% of every partnership goes directly to community impact.

Coupled with money-can’t-buy utility opportunities, including on-field experiences, signed jerseys, merchandise packages, and more, members of the Angel City FC NFT community will also have the chance to learn about each artist and their artistic vision across ACFC’s social channels and website.

“The We Are L.A. NFT Collection is the ultimate digital representation of what Angel City has set out to accomplish as a club- to use sport as a driver for community…
