Manchester United have reportedly held talks with the representatives of Brighton midfielder Alexis Mac Allister over a possible move in the summer.
The 24-year-old has enjoyed a fantastic season, both with club and country.
He started all six of Argentina’s wins as they claimed the World Cup in Qatar and has netted 10 times in 31 matches for the Seagulls.
Erik ten Hag wants to add more creativity to his midfield and Fabrizio Romano claims Mac Allister has move towards the top of his list of targets.
The 34-year-old was tied down to a new deal ahead of the World Cup, penning an extension to 2025 with a one-year option.
