FRESNO, CA – The Central Valley Fuego FC Academy is thrilled to announce its 31-player roster for the 2023 season. The team is made up of talented and dedicated young players from the Central Valley who are ready to compete at the highest level of youth soccer.


With a range of skills and positions, the team brings a unique set of strengths to the field. Fans can expect to see standout performances from the entire roster which represent a combined seven (7) counties from around the Central Valley who are sure to make a significant impact on the game.

The Central Valley Fuego FC Academy recently finished in 3rd place in the Academy Cup, which took place in Tampa, Florida this past month. This performance is a testament to the hard work and dedication of both the players and coaching staff, despite not being a full-time year round program. This achievement has further strengthened the team’s strive for excellence and continuous improvement.

In addition to its commitment to excellence on the field, the Central Valley Fuego FC Academy is dedicated to making a positive impact in the community. The team is proud to partner with both its official affiliate and non-affiliate youth clubs, with the goal to democratize access to the first team, regardless of affiliation. Central Valley Fuego FC Academy also has plans for community outreach and charity events in the near future.

The Central Valley Fuego FC Academy will be playing their season home opener at noon on April 30th, ahead of the first team’s match at 4 pm. This is a great opportunity for fans to catch a double header and watch the talented young players from the academy showcase their skills before the main event.

“Professional minutes are the name of the game. Talk about breaking into the first time, this is truly the best opportunity for any youth player in the Central Valley who has dreams or aspirations to one day sign a professional contract.” said Juan Gerardo Ruelas Jr, Managing Partner of Central Valley Fuego FC. “With the ability of up to five (5) professional players to be rostered in any given academy match, two being on the field at any given time, and vice versa, with up to seven (7) academy players being able to make appearances on the eighteen (18) man roster for any first team matches, with no more than five (5) being on the field at any given time, we are putting actions behind our words.”
