Wrexham can secure promotion to the English Football League when they host Boreham Wood on Saturday evening.

The thrilling National League season has captured the imagination of millions of fans thanks to the incredible form of both Wrexham and Notts County throughout the 2022/23 campaign. Both teams have soared past 100 points but only one can be automatically promoted to League Two, with the other going into the play-offs.

Wrexham beat County recently and can secure the title with a win on Saturday when they face Boreham Wood, who are sixth and targeting a play-off spot.

Ben Foster is expected to keep his place in goal against the side sixth in the table. Having bagged his 44th goal of the season in all competitions during the win over Yeovil, Paul Mullin will certainly be starting in attack.

With just two games left to play and four points separating Wrexham and Notts County, there is still a slim chance that Notts County can win the league. They will be in action on the same day as Wrexham vs. Boreham Wood when they take on Maidstone United away from home.

Their game is earlier though as it is not televised. They play at 15:00 BST and if they were to lose that game, it would mean Wrexham are champions before they take the field against Boreham Wood.

Considering Notts County will be against the team at the bottom of the table who have already been relegated, you have to assume that they will get all three points in Maidstone.
