CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – In a return to action after the international break, several Hoos hit the pitch for their NWSL clubs in week three of the season for the professional league.

It’s a busy week for the NWSL with every team competing tonight in the Challenge Cup’s opening round before heading into the weekend’s matches.

Megan Reid – Defender

Megan Reid started on the back line and logged the full 90 minutes in a 2-2 draw against Racing Louisville over the weekend. Reid has played he full 90 minutes on the back line in each game for Angel City this season.

Sinead Farrelly – Midfield

Sinead Farrelly saw hit the pitch for 29 minutes in Gotham’s 2-0 win over the Orlando Pride this past weekend after returning from duty with the Ireland National Team during the international break. She logged her first shot after subbing in at the 61 minute mark.

Taryn Torres – Midfield – Out With Injury
Torres suffered a torn ACL in training camp and is out for the season as she rehabs the injury.

HOUSTON DASH
Diana Ordoñez – Forward

Ordoñez played 89 minutes in a 1-1 draw with the Portland Thorns over the weekend, taking three shots in the contest for the Dash.

Courtney Petersen – Defender
Season Stats – GP-GS: 2-1 • Goals: 0 • Assists: 0 • Shots: 0 • Minutes: 71
Petersen came off the bench and saw 26 minutes for the Dash in the draw with the Thorns.
