Tottenham on thin ice, as ‘every chance’ of Kane to Man Utd if new manager is ‘not to his liking’

Harry Kane, Tottenham, March 2023

Transfer insider Dean Jones believes Harry Kane could choose to leave Tottenham if the new boss is “not to his liking”, which could see him join Manchester United.

Only twice in the past seven seasons have Tottenham finished outside the top four. It’s no coincidence that the last time it happened before that was Kane’s fledgling season in the Premier League.

As soon as he properly got to grips with the league, he started scoring bags of goals. His Premier League goals tally now stands at 205 – three shy of Wayne Rooney in second on the all-time list.

This season, Kane is the league’s second-top goalscorer, with 22 goals, and Spurs are fifth, level on points with the two sides above them: Manchester United and Newcastle United.

Since that hasn’t happened, and it’s now been 15 years since they last won a trophy, all eyes will be on the new manager to see if they can inspire change.

Transfer insider Jones thinks that appointment could have a huge bearing on Kane’s future.

“Harry Kane’s got a situation facing him now over who the new Tottenham manager will be; if that is not to his liking, then I think there’s every chance that Harry Kane is open to joining Man Utd.” he told GIVEMESPORT.

However, a move to Manchester United could offer him a legitimate chance at silverware. Surely winning trophies will be something he wants to do, or he could feel he has underachieved once he hangs up his boots.

United’s main options appear to be Kane or Napoli forward Victor Osimhen. Either man could go a long way to offering them a shot at the Premier League title once again.

However, that Kane knows the league inside and out and has dominated on a personal level could make him the better option.

With that being said, the two…
