Forward Madison’s Earth Day Collection Is Now Available

Forward Madison FC Unveils 2023 Preseason Schedule

MADISON, WI: With Earth Day coming up on April 22nd, Forward Madison FC have released their Earth Day Collection. The collection features a collaboration with Unwanted FC, a vintage soccer shop that focuses on upcycling soccer kits. FMFC will be auctioning off Unwanted FC upcycled accessories made from past FMFC jerseys, with 100% of proceeds benefiting Clean Wisconsin. The auction will start on Sunday, April 2nd at 10am CT and run through Wednesday, April 5th at 10am CT on Forward Madison’s social media channels.


Also part of the FMFC Earth Day Collection is sustainably-made clothing garments. A commemorative t-shirt, Olive Green tonal t-shirt and hat will be available for purchase both in-store and online starting March 31st. The Olive Green t-shirt features a quotation from Earth Day Founder and Former Wisconsin Governor Gaylord Nelson that reads, “Our goal is an environment of decency, quality and mutual respect for all human beings and all other living creatures.” 25% of proceeds from the garments will go to support Clean Wisconsin’s mission of preserving and protecting Wisconsin’s clean water, air, and natural heritage.

Since our founding on Earth Day in 1970, Clean Wisconsin has been working to preserve and protect Wisconsin’s environment,” said Clean Wisconsin President and CEO Mark Redsten. “Your support will help further our efforts to work with state and community leaders, and state agencies to address the critical environmental challenges we’re facing. Together, we can protect the places we love.”

“Over the years, it’s been increasingly more important and necessary to source and utilize sustainable materials in fashion and retail,” FMFC Assistant Buyer and Retail Operations Manager Alyssa Bruce said. “This collection is intended to be a stepping stone for how the club can continue to make influential changes in our community.”
