San Antonio FC Brings Back Cristian Parano for 2023 Season

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio FC defeated Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC tonight 1-0 after a penalty save by Jordan Farr on the last kick of the match. The win in front of a sold-out Toyota Field brings the team unbeaten streak to 14 matches, including last season’s playoff run.


After over 80 scoreless minutes, Mohammed Abu scored his first career USL Championship goal, putting back a rebound in the 83rd minute to make it 1-0.

Eight minutes into stoppage time, Farr saved a potentially match-tying penalty to secure the win. The save was one of five Farr made on the night.

San Antonio FC heads to California to take on Monterey Bay F.C. on Saturday, April 1. Kickoff is set for 9:00 p.m. CT, and can be streamed on ESPN+.
