Wave Set to Take on St. Louis in Final Regular Season Home Game Sunday Afternoon at Panther Arena

After clinching a playoff spot last week, the 7-time champion Milwaukee Wave wrap up their 2023 home season Sunday against the St. Louis Ambush.

“We certainly want to go out on a high note and win in front of our fans,” said Milwaukee Wave Head Coach Giuliano Oliivero. “We’ve had success against the Ambush before but the last time we met, they defeated us. It’s all about being prepared and making ourselves better especially as we go into the playoffs.”


Milwaukee leads the season series against St. Louis, 4-1.

Milwaukee vs St. Louis 4 – 10 Mar 5

St. Louis vs Milwaukee 5 – 6 Feb 17

Milwaukee vs St. Louis 7 – 0 Feb 10

Milwaukee vs St. Louis 8 – 2 Jan 7

St. Louis vs Milwaukee 3 – 7 Dec 10

“If we can go 10-2 on the home season, that would be great,” added Oliviero. “We want to finish strong at home and build some momentum going into our last few road games but first things first; we’ve got to take care of St. Louis Sunday and we look forward to doing that in front of our amazing fans.”

Marcio Leite scored two goals and a huge eight assists for the Wave in two games. The MASL veteran player has 26 points through 13 games this season with the Wave and the highest points per game average since his rookie year.
