Bayern Munich ‘are ready to SACK Julian Nagelsmann’, who insists he has NOT heard from the club… as Thomas Tuchel ‘AGREES to replace him’ as the former Chelsea boss looks set to make his return to management

  • Bayern Munich are reportedly ready to sack manager Julian Nagelsmann
  • Nagelsmann says he’s heard about the rumours but has not heard from the club
  • Ex-Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has reportedly agreed to replace him at Bayern

Bayern Munich are ready to sack manager Julian Nagelsmann, with Thomas Tuchel agreeing to replace him at the Allianz Arena, according to reports in Germany.

The German giants, who have won the last 10 Bundesliga titles in a row, currently lie second in the league table, behind rivals Borussia Dortmund.

Nagelsmann, has won 60 of his 84 games in charge (71.4 per cent) since taking over in July 2021 but only has one Bundesliga trophy and two German Super Cups to his name across his tenure.

And with Bayern faltering in the league, club chiefs are giving serious consideration to axing the 35-year-old, according to football journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Romano claims that with discussions continuing internally over the decision, Nagelsmann may be shown the exit door ‘soon’, while adding that there is a ‘full agreement in place’ for Tuchel to take over, who has accepted the job.

Romano added that contracts between Tuchel and Bayern ‘have been agreed’ and that ‘documents are being prepared tonight’.

Tuchel, 49, has been out of work since being sacked by Chelsea in September under the new ownership of Todd Boehly.

He has managed European giants like Dortmund and PSG and would bring an intimate knowledge of the German top-flight.

If Nagelsmann is sacked and under-pressure Tottenham manager Antonio Conte is also fired by the north London club, Nagelsmann could be a contender to take over…
