Players Who Have Scored The Most Goals For PSG

Kylian Mbappe has been breaking records left, right and centre ever since he made his debut back in December 2015. And now he has another one to his name as he became the top goals scorer for Paris Saint Germain (PSG). Mbappe managed to achieve the feat in just five-and-a-half years and just 24 years.

The Frenchman achieved this feat against Nantes as he scored in the dying minutes of the game to help his team win the match 4-2. This is an incredible achievement for a player who just turned 24 last December.

And Mbappe has had to overtake some of the biggest names ever for the club. So, FootTheBall brings you the top goal scorers for PSG.

Pedro Miguel Pauleta- 109 goals

Before Qatar Sports Investments acquired PSG, Pedro Miguel Pauleta was the most lethal goalscorer in the club’s history. The Portuguese joined the club in 2003, and over the next five years, he scored 109 goals in 211 matches for the team. He also provided 18 assists during that period.

Pauleta’s goals scoring record was immensely helpful for the club, which won two Coupe de France in 2003–04, 2005–06 and one Coupe de la Ligue in 2007-08. He was also the top scorer of Ligue 1 for the club in the 2005-06 and 2006-07 seasons. During that time, he was also part of the Portugal national squad that was the runners-up in the Euro 2004.

Neymar-118 goals

While Neymar joined PSG in the same transfer window as Kylian Mbappe, the Brazilian has played 74 games less than the Frenchman, which shows his struggles with injuries at the club. However, despite that, he has managed to score 118 goals, the fourth-most in the club’s history. In addition, Neymar has also provided 77 assists during his time at the club.

And his acquisition was the one that made PSG an attractive destination for world-class players. His acquisition has also been successful, as PSG have won 12 trophies, including four league titles. He has also helped PSG reach the final of the Champions League, which they lost to Bayern Munich.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic-156 goals
