NC Courage Acquire Defender Emily Fox in Trade with Racing Louisville

CARY, N.C. – The North Carolina Courage have sent seven players to their national teams for the current FIFA window (Feb. 13 – 22). Six different countries will have at least one member of the Courage on their roster. This is your comprehensive guide to when the Courage play and how to follow along.


She Believes Cup

The Courage have representation across three of the four teams participating in the 2023 She Believes Cup, presented by Visa. Emily Fox and Casey Murphy will represent the United States, Kerolin Nicoli is playing for Brazil and Sydney Collins has been invited to train with the Canadian National Team during the cup. Other International Action

Estelle Johnson heads to New Zealand and aims to help Cameroon return to the game’s biggest stage in the FIFA World Cup Play-Offs. They’ll face Thailand in the semifinal at FMG Stadium Waikato on Saturday, February 18, at 1:00 a.m. ET (Free live stream on FIFA+). Newly named captain, Denise O’Sullivan, is in Spain with the Republic of Ireland Women’s National Team as they prepare for their first World Cup appearance. The team will train in Marbella and face AFC Women’s Asian Cup winner China PR in an International Friendly on February 22 in Estadio Nuevo Mirador, Algeciras, Cadiz. The game will kick off at 8:00 a.m. ET.

Rikke Madsen and the Danish National Team are in Laval and Angers, France for the Tournoi de France. The team will play three games:

Wednesday, February 15, against host France at 3:10 p.m. ET

Saturday, February 18, against Norway at 12:00 p.m. ET

Tuesday, February 21, against Uruguay at 12:00 p.m. ET

Additionally, midfielder Brianna Pinto is in France with the U.S. U-23 Youth National Team for a pair of friendlies against the France U-23 squad on February 17 and 20 at Clairefontaine, France’s famed National Training Center located outside of Paris. Pinto is the only NWSL player on the U.S.A. U-23 roster with league experience, entering her third professional season.
