Man Utd beat two Premier League rivals to sign ‘killer’ and Bayern Munich’s summer plan is revealed

Man Utd sign Sabitzer

Man Utd reportedly beat Chelsea and Newcastle United to sign Marcel Sabitzer on loan from Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich on deadline day.

The Red Devils swooped to sign Sabitzer on deadline day after it was revealed that Christian Eriksen will be out of action through injury until April.

The Denmark international has surpassed expectations this term as he has been in stunning form alongside former Real Madrid star Casemiro.

Eriksen will be sorely missed while he is out but Man Utd moved quickly to replace him before the transfer window closed earlier this week.

Sabitzer joined Bayern Munich in 2021 from league rivals RB Leipzig. He captained the Bundesliga outfit while he was at the club but he has only been a bit-part player for the Bundesliga table-toppers.

‘I’ve heard that reports of an option-to-buy for Sabitzer are inaccurate. Bayern Munich are keeping their cards close to the chest on this one.

‘They are very optimistic that if he performs well at United they can get a good deal for him. He will most likely be sold in the summer. Konrad Laimer will come in as a free agent in the summer – it’s not signed and official yet but it will come.

‘It’s a good option, ultimately, for Bayern to try and increase Sabitzer’s transfer value with this move to the Premier League.’

Despite this, Bayern Munich attacker Thomas Muller is confident that…
