Born in Marseille, he came through Juventus’ academy, with Stuttgart initially signing the midfielder on loan before the move became permanent in 2021.

Palace will be without star forward Wilfried Zaha for up to six weeks, after the Ivorian winger suffered a hamstring tear that will keep him out until early March, as Sportsmail’s Adrian Kajumba reports.

The London club have been dependent on their key man this season, with Zaha their leading goal scorer and starting all but one Premier League match.
