Leeds United mull over final decision after £20m bid for attacker comes in from rivals Leicester City

Leeds receive transfer bid

The Athletic’s David Ornstein is reporting that Leicester City have submitted a £20m bid to sign Jack Harrison from Premier League rivals Leeds United.

The former Manchester City starlet joined Leeds on an initial loan deal in 2018 and he would spend three successive seasons on loan at Elland Road.

Leeds made his move permanent in 2021 for around £11m and he has been an important asset for them in the Premier League in recent years.

Harrison has scored eight league goals in two consecutive seasons and he scored the winning goal against Brentford on the final day of the 2021/22 season as Leeds avoided relegation.

“It’s something to be cherished so hopefully I can continue to get the birthdays.”

When asked if he asked for any birthday signings, amid links to Leeds United’s Harrison, Rodgers added: “No, that took a little while that. Was that Sky in your ear?

“Listen, I just wish for good health and make 51. That was it. Listen, the club are working very hard behind the scenes to try and give the club, or team, that boost that it needs and we would like.
