Sidekicks Fall to Strykers on Second Match of Weekend Doubleheader

Ontario, California – The Dallas Sidekicks had a rematch Sunday Night against the Empire Strykers after their loss to the Strykers on Friday.

The first quarter of the game started out quickly with a Sidekicks goal in the first minute of the game. The goal was scored by Kristian Quintana and the assist was by Albert Rodriguez. Seven minutes later, Sidekicks added another goal which was scored by Jamie Lovegrove, and an assist by Christian Vazquez. At the 11-minute mark, Strykers player, Jesus Pacheco scored. The Sidekicks ended the quarter on top after a goal by Albert Rodriguez. Going into the second quarter, the score was 3-1.


The second quarter had two power-play goals by the Strykers. The first one was scored by Adrien Perez and the next one was scored by Franck Tayou. The Strykers added another goal which Juan Topete scored. At halftime, the score was 3-4.

The third quarter had a lot fewer goals by the Strykers compared to the first game in the weekend doubleheader with only two goals scored by the Strykers. These goals were scored by Franck Tayou and Gabriel Costa. At the end of the third quarter, the score was 3-6.

The fourth quarter had two more goals by the Strykers. Gabriel Costa scored at the 7-minute mark and Nestor Hernandez scored at the 10-minute mark. The final score of the game was 3-10.

The Sidekicks Man of the Match was goalkeeper, Estevan Vazquez. Vazquez made 14 saves during the game and had a .667 save percentage.
